This is the MG5 Concept

The Shanghai Auto Show is well under way – underway of course if you’re an exhibitor and you can get in early, of which I am this week. So early entry into the Shanghai Auto Show before the massive crowds begin to enter is always a bonus, first impressions seem to indicate that the Shanghai Auto Show is huge this year, it seems to put last years Beijing Auto Show in the dark and will no doubt push Shanghai into an ever more prominent place in the world auto show rankings. But down to business, this is the MG5 concept that we showed earlier this week:

The MG5 seems to be available in pepper mint green only this week, but early reports indicate that the MG5 will be rocking a 1.5l naturally aspirated engine and also a 1.5 Turbo engine. The naturally flowing model is a bit weak with only 109bhp and 135Nm of torque on tap, but the turbo model is expected to deliver the big power when it launches – more news on this tomorrow.
