MG3 – ready for motorsports, and UK production

The recently launched MG3 was getting its sports equipment on in Shanghai with the car gaining a bodykit, white alloys and a cool rear spoiler to make it quite the little hot hatch for the Chinese market.

The MG3 was parked alongside the MG5 concept and it was clear to see where the MG5 might be going once it is finally launched.

SAIC’s Executive Vice President, Chen Zhi Xin, was also on hand at the show to tell the assembled media that the MG3 will go into production in overseas markets very soon. With SAIC only having one production facility in overseas markets, which is the UK, then it is quite obvious where the MG3 will be made. Mr. Chen went onto say that the MG6 is currently testing the waters in the UK and will likely roll out to other markets soon.
