2011 Captiva 300x200 Facelift Captiva shown in Shanghai, to launch in JuneThe Captiva has been a popular model for Chevrolet China, the model was introduced in 2008 and was sold with a 3.2L V6 engine for just 270,000rmb despite it being an import from Korea it did manage to offer value for money for those that wanted a big car and big power.

For 2011 the exterior and the interior was updated. The gearbox was upgraded to a six speed automatic unit and the four cylinder ecotec engine from the Buick range was installed into the Capitiva, which should give it good fuel economy. Pricing for the 2011/12 model has not yet been announced, but it is likely to be in the same 200,000rmb range.
