More Cars To Get Green Car Subsidy

More than 20 new cars have been awarded a 3000rmb subsidy from the government for being energy efficient motors, the subsidy has been awarded so some 80 cars since its introduction earlier this year. The subsidy is only available to sub 1.6L cars and is a major help to car manufacturers since the preferential tax rates for sub 1.6L vehicles were cancelled.

The cars awarded are as follows:

JAC: He Rui RS, Rui Rui

BYD: F3, F3R, G3, L3, G3R

Suzuki: Alto, Swift, SX4

Chang’an: Ben Ben Mini, CX30, Tue Xiang, CX20, Chang’an Zhi Xing 2, Zhi Xing S4600, Niu Jin
Dongfeng Joyear, Dongfeng Xiao Kang C27

Dongfeng Nissan: Tiida

SouEast: V3 sedan

Honda: Fit

Hafei： Jun Yi, Lu Zun MPV

Zotye: Jiang TT (aka Alto) Z200, Z200HB

Brilliance: FSV

Shanghai-VW: Lavida, Skoda Octavia/Fabia VW Polo

Geely: Freedom Vessel, Hai Jing, King Kong, Gleagle SC5

Jinbei: Hai Xing

Tianjin: Xiali N5, Wei Ci, Wei Le, Wei Zhi
