Riich G2 spied out on the roads

The Riich brand from Chery was supposed to be Chery’s shot at a premium brand, but they appear quite content on adding low cost cars to the premium brand which seems to be diluting the brand somewhat, the first low cost car to hit the Riich label was the Riich M1 which was priced from 38,000rmb. Now Chery are readying the Riich G2, a compact hatchback model that should hit the market later this year priced at 60,000rmb and rising. The G2 will share its platform with the Chery Fulwin range which were released earlier this year, power is expected to be the same but small displacement supercharged versions are expected to join the line up as well.

The G2 is expected to hit the market in the second half of 2011.
