Lotus APX sports SUV spotted in China

Lotus NYO may have just launched in China, but the Lotus APX is likely to see production in China under the Youngman groups management as a Lotus branded vehicles. The APX has been spotted out testing in China and according to Chinese media reports the APX is likely to be based on the Youngman L5 platform which is itself similar to the Gen2 RCR, the 1.6L from the L5 might make it over to the APX but that wouldn’t make it too sporty. Instead it is rumored that Lotus are readying larger 2.0L and 2.4L engines for the car. Later in the year or in early 2012 Youngman Lotus are expected to launch the L6 and the L7 models.
