Facelift Koleos shown to Indian journalists

The facelift Renault Koleos was unveiled to Indian automotive journalists yesterday at a press conference in India, but the car is already out testing on the roads in China according to the below spy pics.

The Koleos revived the Renault brand in the Chinese car market when it was imported into China last year, the Koleos is made in Korea via the Samsung-Renault partnership and exported to China, despite the cars imported status the price is on par with the locally made Nissan X-Trail with which the Renault shares its platform and engine. The facelift Koleos will likely launch in the second half of 2011, although the Indian market may well get it long before the Chinese market.

In 2010 Renault raised sales to just over 14,700 units which was a 176% increase over the previous years and a massive increase when compared to other manufacturers. Later this year Renault will launch the Laguna CC alongside the facelift Koleos. Renault are also working hard to expand their dealerships to 80 dealers by the end of 2011 and will jump to 120 in 2012.
