Chery’s M16 being readied for production
The Chery M16 (obviously a codename) is being readied for production and should hit the market later this year according to media reports. The M16 will be a mid size sedan and is apparently riding on a stretched A3 platform.
This won’t be yet another mid size sedan from Chery that will clutter dealerships, instead it looks like the M16 will be carrying some interesting engine technology from Chery’s ATECO range. The 1.5DVVT engine will be packing 116bhp and 150Nm of torque, a 1.6DVVT will be available with 126bhp and 160Nm, while there will also be supercharged engines: a 1.3S producing an impressive 129bhp and 182Nm of torque, a 1.6S producing 150bhp and 205Nm of torque and also a range topping 1.8S producing 184bhp and 250Nm of torque. Chery is devoting a lot of time, energy and investment into developing the supercharged range of engines in cooperation with the American supercharging company Eaton.

I think you meant Eaton, not Easton superchargers.
