Previously Hawtai accidently leaked the C25 MPV (left) to the Chinese media, the C25 was a smaller home use MPV that is expected to launch this year or early 2012 with the C36 following at a later date. The C36 is apparently going to be a flagship model for Hawtai as they plan to crack into the high end segments with their new sedans, SUV’s and MPV offerings over the next few months. Power for the new models will come from SAIC’s 1.8T engine and Hawtai’s own 2.0 diesel engine, the C36 will also be built to NCAP-5 standards and the same for its emissions, which could indicate a Euro market plan for Hawtai’s latest vehicles.
