Haima 3 gets Mazda3 upgrade

The relationship between Haima and Mazda is officially over, but with Haima still using Mazda parts, platforms and even taking Mazda design styling we do often wonder if the relationship is secretly on the go. Haima have updated their popular Haima 3 hatchback with obvious Mazda3 styling around the tail lights, however the front end remains the same as the 2008 model and will likely remain so until a new generation of car is introduced.

The Haima3 actually sits on top of the old Mazda 323 platform, so there is more than just a little bit of Mazda DNA in the car beyond the styling. Engine power comes in the form of the usual economy 4 cylinder 1.6L engines with manual and CVT gearboxes being offered, prices start at just over 80,000rmb and rise to just under 100,000rmb.
