Chinese Car prices falling ever so slightly
The prices of locally-made vehicles in June stayed at the same level as the previous month, but declined 1.18% from a year earlier, shows the data from the price monitoring center of China’s National Development Reform Commission.
In June, the prices of locally-made passenger vehicles reduced 1.41% from a year earlier, while the prices of commercial vehicles went down 0.79% from a year earlier. The prices of imported vehicles also decreased 0.37% from a month earlier and 0.47% from a year earlier.
An analyst with NDRC said that the steady price decline will continue in the second half of this year as the production increased.
