Brilliance 530 to launch at end of August

Brilliance took a time out in 2010 and 2011 to focus on new core technologies and developing a new range of vehicles that should considerably boost their sales over the next few months. The short term focus for Brilliance will be bringing the 530 sedan and their new small SUV to the market, the 530 is of course set to hit the market at the end of August.

The 530 will be powered by a 1.5T engine that was self developed by the Shenyang based company, other 1.6L engines supplied by Mitsubishi will be powering the compact sedan. Brilliance are possibly the only Chinese company that have a comprehensive line up modeled after the typical European or Japanese model line up with a model in each segment and all carry the same design language, where as other Chinese manufacturers seem to have a mess of different models with different designers adding their touches.

Pricing has not yet been announced but the 530 could be priced from 80,000rmb and rising.
