Greatwalls SC6 SUV

The SC6 SUV was first unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April last year in concept form, however this particular model is practically heading down the production lines at Great Wall’s Bao Ding plant after our most recent visit to their factory. The SC6 has been sent to the Chinese patent office ahead of official production runs later this year which of course were leaked in rapid time. The SC6 is a big SUV, it is on par with the Volvo XC90 in terms of height and width and has a wheelbase of 2.9 meters.

According the auto show specification sheet, the SC6 is likely to be a high spec car with all the options you would find on a mid size SUV from other manufacturers – dual climate controls, push button start, tyre pressure monitoring systems and blind spot systems.

Pricing has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be around 150,000rmb.
