Brilliance new compact saloon has automotive press in a tizzy

Brilliance seem to have been developing a new compact sedan on the quiet over the past few months and until now has so far managed to keep the new car a secret from even the most prying of automotive journalists, of course it was the Brilliance logo on the steering wheel that gave the game away. The new car is set to be a sub FSV saloon roughly the same size as the Toyota Vios, which itself is a sub Corolla car offered in certain Asian countries.

Obviously Brilliance are at a fairly advanced stage of development of this car with regards to chassis development if they are running the model on open roads. The interior looks close to being finished and appears to be one of the better looking dashboard designs we’ve seen from a Chinese car manufacturer in quite some time. Engine power is likely to come in the form of Brilliance’s new self developed 1.5L and 1.5T engine which is going to be in the next Brilliance 530 also.
