XiaLi’s WeiZhi hops on the Crossover wagon

weizhi v2 300x198 XiaLis WeiZhi hops on the Crossover wagonCrossovers are all the rage in China and often outsell their none crossover rivals by a fair old pace, of course the latest trend is to hop on the bandwagon by raising your models suspension by an inch or so and adding black cladding around the car to give it that offroad look and feel without spending too much cash. Xia Li have been slow to catch on but now they are ready with this not-so off road ready Wei Zhi. The crossover version got its first airing at the Shanghai Auto Show but now it is apparently readying for launch in September this year, the Wei Zhi will come with a 1.3L and 5 speed manual gearbox. Presumbly glasses for the owner to see how ugly this model is are not included with the original buying price.
