VW Polo Cross ready for the China market

The VW Polo hatchback has so far been a popular car since the 5th generation was launched in China earlier this year, the hatchback is about to get its Crossover version and is likely to see the light of day at the Guangzhou Auto Show next month. The original Crossover Polo turned out to be a popular niche for the Polo which resulted in other manufacturers following VW down a similar path with their own mini crossovers.

The last version looked ok as long as you were across the street from it. Up close it looked like one of the cheapest made cars on the road. All the plastic especially the roof rack looked so fragile. I thought the idea of a crossover was more durable.
