Facelift X-Trail spied, will launch in Guangzhou Auto Show

How old is the X-Trail now? The X-Trail will be ten years old next year and it doesn’t seem to be going out of style anytime soon, the chunky styling seems to take this city SUV into a capable off road vehicle. The Chinese market has had the X-Trail as a locally made vehicle since 2009 but has been imported into China since around 2003. The X-Trail doesn’t have the 10,000+ sales per month that the Qashqai has, but it has struck a chord with certain consumers that want a tough looking city SUV.

So what seems different in this version? The obvious clues are the newer chunkier grill that is shared across the Nissan SUV and truck range, the dials seem to be slightly different and that’s about it. The X-Traill will carry the same 2.0L and 2.5L engines as the current version and will be on air at the Guangzhou Auto Show next month.
