QQ3 sports out in the open

The QQ3 is undergoing a reinvention in the form of a new generation of vehicle, of course this means that the current version that is nearly ten years old has to hang around for a bit longer. So what do you do with an old car? You facelift it and hope the car buying public buy it and don’t retch their guts out on seeing it.

The good news is that the QQ3 sports is not exactly hideous, but it does jump out and say ‘buy me’ like other small mini cars in its class. For 2012 the QQ3 has been given a squarer front end and an odd black mustache across the front lip, perhaps in a bid to make it look as sporty as its name suggests.

The QQ3 will have to hang around for at least one year until the new model is launched in late 2012 or early 2013, the fact that the new model is undergoing road testing only serves to indicate that the new one is not that far away at all.
