Kia K2 hatchback spied ahead of Guangzhou Auto Show, and world launch
Kia’s in 2012 are no laughing matter, only an idiot would mock a new Kia and we’re fairly sure that old world manufacturers are watching Kia’s rise very closely. Early Kia’s were a laughing matter, odd Mazda based cars with unusual proportions and all the style and charisma of a dead street pigeon, but Kia have learned fast. The K2 sedan has already been launched in China and has received some good early sales thanks to its unique styling that sets it part from other notchback mini sedans such as the Polo sedan, Fiesta sedan and Mazda2 sedan, the hatch follows the same style of course.
Pricing is expected to be from 70,000rmb to 100,000rmb when it launches next week with a 1.4L and 1.6L engine with a 4sp automatic and 5sp manual gearbox.
