Next Generation Roewe 750 spotted again
Either SAIC likes to show off its cars way ahead of their launch, or they are very bad at hiding their new cars, the next generation of Roewe 750 has been spotted out testing yet again but this time its giving away the most about its future styling. The new 750 apparently shares its platform with the Buick Regal which is known as the Opel Insignia in Europe, the suspension and exhaust set up shown in the below pictures seem to solidify this fact, the dashboard and interior also seem to echo the current generation of Regal down to the styling and also the electric parking brake.
The current 750 has been on the market for nearly 6 years, and in turn has been on the market elsewhere for nearly 14 years so it is very close to the end of its extended life, the new 750 is likely to give the Roewe brand a much needed boost. The current 750 sells from 160,000rmb to 250,000rmb, the new one is likely to fall into the 180,000rmb and rising segment when it launches in late 2012 with 2.0L, 2.4L and 2.0T engines under the hood.
