Luxgen5 sedan spotted out testing in China
Taiwanese car brand Luxgen have set up their China base in sunny Hangzhou, not too far away from Geely’s own production base in Hangzhou making the capital of Zhejiang quite a hub for car making activities in recent years. Luxgen are so far making the Luxgen7 SUV in the Chinese market which seems to be selling fairly well, November sales were around 1600 units where as the Roewe W5 achieved sales of just over 600 units. The 5 will likely launch in the mid to late 2012 and will be powered by a 1.8T and also a 2.0T engine.
The Luxgen5 has already been spotted out testing in China, which indicates that production is not too far away and a Beijing 2012 Auto Show is more than likely.
