New Audi A4 All Roader Sighted in China

The Audi A4 has been a killer car for Audi in the Chinese market, the compact sedan became a mid size sedan with the addition of extra leg room for rear passengers as business focused consumers would use the A4 as a chauffeured vehicle. In recent months luxury car manufacturers have been putting a greater emphasis on life style orientated vehicles such as compact crossover SUV’s and wagons to woo consumers that are looking for the premium brand and premium product but without necessarily looking for a plain old black sedan.

Chinese media are showing pictures of the Audi A4 All Roader in China and guesstimating that the car will be imported into China in 2012, the All Roader series were a precursor to the large Q-series of SUV’s that Audi developed, a smaller Audi Wagon will likely gainer strong sales against the recently introduced BMW 5-Series wagon and also Mercedes miniature C-Class Wagon.
