B200 BYD Daimler 300x199 BYDs TIGER car doing the test runsBYD’s partnership with Daimler seems to be gaining ground fast, the partnership was barely announced several months ago but the company have already got a road testing car out on the streets. Here’s what we know: It is based on the Mercedes B200 platform, the electric know how comes via the BYD E6 which should mean its good for any where from 150km to 200km on a single charge, let’s face it – who drives more than 150km in a city on a daily basis? The car has been codenamed TIGER, previously it was GOLF (Green, Oxygen Light, Friendship) we’re not sure what TIGER stands for yet but we have learned that the logo is like a drop of water.
