Zhongxing C11 gets face lift ahead of launch

The Zhongxing crossover was not exactly a knockout stunner when pictures of the car were leaked to the world in mid 2011, in fact it was quite revolting. However, these pictures from Zhongxing (again, leaked) seem to show a much improved vehicle, the awful Jeep inspired front end has been replaced with something wouldn’t look entirely out of place on the nose end of a Korean car:

Engine power remains a mystery but expect 1.3L and either 1.5L or 1.6L engines for this car when it hits the streets, a Beijing Auto Show launch is expected – and much needed, besides pick up trucks Zhongxing isn’t making much of anything these days, this crossover seems to be a step in the right direction.

What do our reader think? Do Zhongxing have potential?
