The Beijing Auto Show is going to be on the receiving end of 120 new models according to press releases, the new concept from Haima is just another car in the mad mess. This is the first time that Haima have attempted to create a B-segment sedan which will be VW Sagitar (Jetta) sized, this is not the first time we’ve had a look at it: the Haima ZM2 has been spotted out testing on a number of occasions with photos making it to the China Car Times on a seemingly regular basis.
Haima have been working on this new concept for three years and will contain the latest technology when it makes it to market in either late 2012 or early 2013. The car will measure 4845mm long and have a wheelbase of 2800mm, engine power is not yet known – perhaps it will be something in the 1.6L to 2.0L range although Haima do not yet have the capability to make small displacement turbo assisted engines. According to Haima, stop/start technology and various active safety systems are being installed on the new car, we will have to wait until Beijing Auto Show to find out exactly what it looks like.
