Mazda CX-5 arrives in China

Mazda got its mojo going in 2012 with the launch of the latest generation China made Mazda 3 sedan and hatch, the next move for the company is the importation of the CX5 SUV. If you’re a reader of overseas automotive media, as I presume you are, then you are probably well aware of the fantastic reviews that the CX5 is receiving for its handling characteristics despite the compact SUV segment not exactly being well known superb handling.

Mazda’s PR were on hand to point out that Mazda are not aiming for turbo assisted small displacement engines, instead they are aiming to further refine the naturally aspirated block without adding the fuss of a turbo.

If pricing on the CX5 is sub 250,000RMB when it enters dealers in the next few months, then Mazda are going to hit a major home run.
