Dodge are neither here nor there in the Chinese market, the rams head does have some brand awareness in China but that was mostly via the Grand Caravan, short lived Avenger, and the Dodge Journey, forget any fancy thoughts about Chargers and RAM trucks, neither exist in China (at least not at Chrysler/Dodge dealerships!) The Dodge Journey has managed to gain much attention back to the brand over the past two years it has been on the market, the Chinese market receives the Journey in 2.7L V6 which only spins the front wheels, there has been rumors of the flagship 3.6L model turning all four corners entering China and this is probably what what we are looking at here:

Although the American market Journey got its new crosshair style grill a while back, the Chinese market model has been left to make do with the older design that doesn’t have the added niceness of the post bankruptcy revised Journey which had the GPS screen moved up to an easier to see position, and an improved central console.
This model is likely to launch in the second half of the year, possibly via the Guangzhou Auto Show at the years end, although the introduction of a facelift model is quite important, the Dodge brand is hardly breaking new ground with the JCUV.

Dodge Journey has been known for providing best-in-class interior storage and versatility since its introduction, and the new 2012 model will be no exception.
