BYD-Benz’s Denza Model Spied Testing

BYD-Benz’s Denza seems to have disappeared from the limelight over the past few months but the pure EV brand is still very much on the march forward. The concept has already been revealed at the Guangzhou Auto Show in 2011, and the final model should be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2012.

Under the slogan “EV the future”, the 50:50 joint venture makes use of the last generation Mercedes B-Class platform and BYD’s electric drive train technologies that are used in the BYD E6 which could potentially give it a potential range of 400km on a single charge thanks to its iron batteries.
