GoNow’s New SUV Highlights via the Patent Office

Remember GoNow? The Zhejiang based car maker was a plucky upstart in the early 2000′s with its export orientated methodology, but as other Chinese automakers saw opportunities overseas GoNow slipped from the limelight, then it was merged into the larger Guangzhou Automobile. News on GoNow has been slim on the ground in the past few years, under Guangzhou Auto’s management they slipped out a new SUV at the Beijing Auto Show but news on other models has been slim, much like their sales tally.

Chinese media have already commented that this new SUV looks a lot like the Toyota RAV4, personally we cant see any RAV4 about this model other than that it follows the same concept of being a light weight city SUV. If anything, this new model looks a lot like Guangzhou Auto’s own GS5 SUV which aired late last year and seems to be doing fairly well in the sales charts.
