Haima ZM3 Shows That Chinese Manufacturers are Growing Up Fast

The Haima ZM3 has finally shown its face in full, the ZM3 was possibly based on the Yao concept that aired at the Beijing Auto Show earlier this year, but the ZM2 has also been shown on CCT before – so perhaps this is the ZM2 but now named the ZM3 or it is a model to sit between the ZM2 and the Yao as the ZM3. Who knows?

All we know so far is that this car is a good looker, it has Haima’s independent design language mixed in with some slight Mercedes highlights to give it a unique look. The ZM3 measures in at  (LxWxH) 4700 x 1802 x 1478mm, and has a wheelbase of 2700mm which puts it in line with other B-segment cars in the Chinese market such as the Chang’an Eado, BYD Su Rui and Great Wall’s C50.

The cars platform hasn’t been revealed as of yet, Haima have made several models based on the ancient Mazda 323 platform from when Haima and Mazda were best buddies, it’s not clear if Haima are using the 323 platform one more time or not – wait and see!

It’s the replacement for the Haima Family, not the ZM2, that car is going to be positioned below it.
