JAC’s New Compact Truck Looks Handsome Enough

JAC have been in the business of commercial vehicles for a numbers, they are relative new comers to the high volume high profit car making business but CV’s are still at the core of their business. The latest truck doesn’t look like a Ford F150 unlike their previous model, but it does look like a decent compact truck.

Isuzu trucks, either illegally or legally acquired, have made up the platforms of many a Chinese pick up truck over the past two decades, we’re not sure where JAC have received their tech from but they have put together a handsome little truck named the Rui Chi. The new Rui Chi will likely launch in the next few months with a 2.0L gasoline and 2.4L diesel engine, both AWD and RWD models will be available. Pricing is reportedly supposed to be between 80,000RMB and 120,000RMB. Expect to see this on the streets of China and South America very soon.

Looks like someone dropped a hay bale on that set of grille bars. Also, hard to get a leg up on that slick-looking interior….., especially the clutch pedal.:-)
