Audi Gets Territorial Over the Q With Qoros

Qoros hasn’t yet opened any show rooms or launched its cars but that hasn’t stopped Audi from putting forward a motion to sue Qoros over the use of the letter Q. The Truth About Cars cites German media reports in the Der Kfz-Betrieb reports on Audi’s plans to keep Q cars in its own brand portfolio and is actively trying to stop other brands from using Q in its naming structure.

Originally the first car from Qoros was set to be called the GQ3 but earlier this week the Q was dropped to give the Qoros the ‘Qoros 3′ sedan moniker thanks to a temporary injunction against Qoros from Audi.
