BAIC’s E-series hatchback launched last year signaled Beijing Auto’s ambitions to start selling cars under their own brand. It has seen modest sales numbers so far, but a sedan version is very close to hitting the market.
The sedan follows the same basic design of the hatchback, which some say closely resembles styling from BAIC’s partner Mercedes-Benz. Like the hatchback, it will get 1.3 and 1.5L engines.
