At last years Beijing Auto Show and Shanghai Auto Show, Guangzhou Honda aired a new concept which was suitably gifted with the name of ‘C-Concept’, now that concept and name have been revised into the C-Rider concept that Honda showed off to a select crowd prior to the opening of the Shanghai Auto Show.
The Guangzhou-Honda designed vehicle is a compact car that measures in at LxWxH 4650 x 1750 x 1505mm which gives the impression that it was developed on top of the Honda City platform which is also shared with the Honda Fit. Power comes from a 1.8L engine that Honda says gives the fuel economy of a smaller 1.6L but has the power of a 1.8L. And the name? That is a portmanteau of ‘Criteria’ and ‘Dreams’ according to Honda.
