in Fake Chinese Cars.

China Car Times spotted this Ferrari (or Porsche), from the sea (we were out snorkeling) it looked like the real deal, except the closer we got, the super rare Ferrari started to fall to bits. Up close, its certainly ‘interesting’! The body work is fiberglass with the odd extra stud here and there (for dramatic effect), the rims certainly are not original Ferrari designs but rather borrowed from elsewhere. The interior was nothing to write home about either, the handbrake was a mere stick, as was the gearstick. The center console was a sticker!

You’re probably wondering ‘Whats the point of this?‘ Well, the car (actually, just a shell on fixed axles that can be rotated on the spot) belongs to a wedding photography studio. You see, many a young Chinese couples would love to have a real classic Ferrari to sit in whilst they have their wedding photos taken overlooking dramatic mountains and sea scenes, but it just isn’t possible, hence the fiberglass mock up.

in Fake Chinese Cars.
It was George Bush that famously said ‘Fool me once, shame on you, and fool me we cant get fooled again‘ Well, today China Car Times is the fool, in yesterdays story - The Brilliance M4 Coupe - we posted pictures of a new Brilliance M4 coupe we found via the Chinese Search engine Baidu.com. When China Car Times was sleeping several eagle eyed MG Rover dorks errrr… fans spotted that the pictures of the Brilliance M4 coupe were in fact digitally manipulated pictures of the famous MG Xpower SV (shown left)China Car Times would like to thank its smart readers for having sharper eyes than we clearly do, we have nobody but ourselves to blame, oh and the Chinese site that marked them up as the new Brilliance Coupe. We promise not to post any stories at past midnight anymore.
